The Winners of the 6th Annual YouthWorks Business Plan Competition

Earlier this month 7 contestants pitched businesses towards a panel of four expert judges as part of the 6th Annual YouthWorks Business Plan Competition.

Youth presented their value proposition along with their financial, marketing, hiring, organizational, and inventory plans. The different types of business models being represented included bakeries, cleaning services, food trucks and a shoe detailing service.

The primary goal of BAWIB’s Youth Business Plan Competition is to empower the entrepreneurial spirit among our region’s young population and encourage the development of feasible business ideas. Those who submit applications are given feedback on both their written business plans and presentations so that they may use it to improve for the future.
