Brockton Regional Veterans Support Council

The Brockton Regional Veterans Service Council (BRVSC) is an effort to promote the well-being of our Veterans, by connecting them with resources upon transitioning back into the community. Through our quarterly meetings, Veterans service providers and partner members connect with local resources to share best practices and updates with their organizations.

Adult Basic Education

CPAE, the Brockton Community Partnership for Adult Education, seeks to support both adult learners and the network of programs that serve them by celebrating the achievements of our students and disseminating information about the impact of increased literacy on the family, the workforce and the community. It is a coalition of educators, service providers, employers, and others working together to provide quality services to adults in need of basic education.

Commercial Drivers License

The BAWIB CDL Driver Training Program has been developed by a partnership made up of BAWIB, CareerWorks/UMASS Donahue Institute, local employers, Teamsters Local 653 and the Parker Professional Driving School to train 24 individuals for employment as a CDL Class A Driver or Class B Driver. The training program is designed to help meet the demand for Class A and Class B drivers in the BAWIB region.

Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program is a partnership between BAWIB, the American Red Cross and CareerWorks. The program will begin in June of 2016 and will offer CPR, AED & First Aid 2 year certifications. The training program is designed to help meet the demand for Healthcare workers in the BAWIB region.

The Direct Care Training Program is an initiative to help interested individuals to prepare for getting an entry-level position in the healthcare industry.
